Dreaming of a Home?

Do you have dreams of providing a good life in a nice home for you and your family?

The Summit Civic Foundation makes it possible for young families with children to benefit from living in Summit and its excellent school system. To this end, the Foundation offers to families with limited means quality affordable rental housing at below typical Summit market level rents. The Foundation has 24 duplex units with two and three bedrooms located at Weaver Street and Dennis Place between Summit High School and Morris Avenue.

Some families remain for many years. As a result the neighborhood has a multigenerational make-up. Other families purchase a home and move away, freeing Foundation housing for new families. For families that purchase a home, the Foundation, as a parting gift, assists with the closing costs associated with the purchase.

All are welcome to apply. Prospective tenants must complete an application and be approved by the Board of Trustees. (See Application Process below.)

Current Availability of Homes

All housing units are currently occupied.

Check periodically with the Foundation's manager for availability.
